The Hutch is a totally self contained, newly renovated annex attached to a private family home in the idyllic Cambridgeshire village of Bassingbourn.
Situated close to a host of village amenities including a shop, cafe, wellness centre and the two village pubs, The Hutch is a perfect base to get away from the hustle and bustle of normal life.
Hosts David and Isabel Marriage have renovated The Hutch with loving care and to the highest possible standard.

WHAT WE OFFER
From the moment you check in, we will do our utmost to cater to your every need.
We provide a 'Welcome Pack' breakfast. This includes milk, coffee, tea (inc herbal), muesli/granola, bagels, spread, jam & marmalade.
Within The Hutch you'll also find an iron and ironing board, hairdryer, all bedlinen and towels (which will be changed if you stay for longer than a week) and a good wifi connection.
All household items such as hand soap, washing up liquid, tea towels, kitchen roll, toilet paper, laundry powder etc. are provided.
Off road parking for one car is available outside the property.
The Hutch is located within our garden. You might meet our friendly dogs, as well as chickens and geese.
**Full Airbnb Covid 19 cleaning procedures are being followed.**
All cleaning products used contain bacterial cleaning agents and all surfaces are cleaned thoroughly to include all switches / plugs/ buttons / handles etc: within the property.
KITCHEN & BATHROOM
The cottage-style kitchen has a built in oven & hob, fridge, washing machine and Nespresso coffee machine.
The modern bathroom has a large walk in shower, mirror with shaver socket and light, a large basin and wc.
Ample towels and toiletries are provided. Our eco-friendly toiletries are from local supplier Heart to Earth.
SITTING ROOM
A bright airy sitting room with french doors leading to a patio. There is a sofa, chair & footstool and TV in the sitting area and a table and two chairs providing an ideal work or dining space.
The walls feature paintings by local artist Dorothy Bastreri.
Outside the living room there is a south facing patio area for guests to use. There are chairs and a coffee table so you can relax and enjoy an al fresco coffee or glass of wine.
BEDROOM
The comfortable bedroom features a zip and link bed giving the option of super king size bed or twin beds, a chest of drawers and hooks and coat hangers for hanging clothes. We provide two pillows per guest (duck feather & down pillows and luxury anti-allergy microfibre pillows. Crisp white bedding with ocre accents completes the look.
Wonderful property, wonderful host! We couldn’t fault the property if we tried, they have it nailed. It was so close to the local wedding venue ‘South Farm’ too! You won’t regret booking this property, it’s perfect for a getaway for 2!
Absolutely lovely setting, sparkling clean and certainly value for money. I would recommend the Hutch to everybody that are looking for somewhere to stay in the area.
